With the Bears not playing in the penultimate round of games in the Middleton Cup their focus was on what they would need to do in the final match on Saturday 11th July at Whitnash.

Gloucestershire lost 84 (5) - (17) 87 to Oxfordshire, a result that moved Oxfordshire one point ahead of the Bears but having played all their games. An impressive 127-80 win by Worcestershire away to Herefordshire saw them collect 21 points, leaving them 10 points ahead. It leaves the maths very simple, a win of any kind by the Bears against Worcestershire will be enough to send Warwickshire through to Nationals.
