The Middleton Cup represents one of the most challenging and most competitive leagues to play in. To take part, you are selected on your bowling credentials and ability to be part of the team. When we first starting playing bowls, you had to have been a county champion in one of the primary disciplines, singles/pairs/triples or fours, before consideration. We don't operate this way anymore, and we would like to break with tradition to ask clubs to nominate “wildcards” players for consideration that we might not have seen or be aware of that you may believe has the potential to be a top 24 player.

We have two key competitions, Midland Counties and the Middleton Cup. the Midland Counties is the development side. This team is used to try new bowlers, different combinations for the Middleton Cup and give potential players confidence as they step up to county bowling, often competing against England squad players and national title winners.

It is an honour to be a Warwickshire Bear and wear the shirt, so please nominate the talent that could be one of the best.
