The Competition Secretary would like to remind all entrants that under competition regulation 20 all bowls MUST have a valid World Bowls stamp, bowls which do not have a valid stamp will rejected by the umpires at either the semi-finals or finals which may lead to you having to concede the match if you cannot find bowls with a valid stamp. This requirement also applies to players progressing to the National Finals in Leamington.

Warwickshire made the short trip to Kislingbury BC to take on Northamptonshire in the Midland Counties league. With a lot of the squad declaring themselves as unavailable for the game the Team Manager had to reach out to other bowlers to be able to field a full side. Despite winning on four rinks the Bears side wasn't strong enough to secure the win as well, losing 108-118 and gaining 8 points.
A hot Welford welcomed Worcestershire for the latest inter-county friendly and it was the visitors that left the Bears sweating as they won 123-102.
